On Wednesday, May 9th, the Village at Wexford (VAW) will be holding its second annual “Day to Celebrate Women” – featuring a day filled with shopping, entertainment, fun and fundraising. The event will include special presentations and events for attendees – with the first 100 women arriving at the event receiving a special SWAG BAG filled with an array of items from participating VAW merchants. One lucky SWAG Bag recipient will receive a 7 night stay anywhere in the world.
The Day to Celebrate Women event will be held on Wednesday, May 9th from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Village at Wexford, located at 1000 William Hilton Parkway on Hilton Head Island. The fun-filled event is free and open to the public, and is part of “A Day to Celebrate Women” created by 100+ Women Who Care HHI. The day will feature demonstrations (including a Mahjong demonstration), presentations from EXIT Hilton Head Realty on “Financing and Buying a Home”, complimentary cocktails, product samples (including fresh produce samples from local women farmers), beauty treatments and will showcase work from Lowcountry crafts people. This year, the day will once again include the “Love Seat Lock-Up” fundraising event, with money raised benefiting Hospice Care of the Lowcountry.
